Prof. (Dr) J. M. Hans, is a topper and medalist from PGI Chandigarh. For his accomplishments in the field of ENT and Cochlear Implant, Dr J.M Hans was awarded with PadmaShri by Lt. Hon’ble Ex President of India Dr APJ Abdul Kalam in the year 2005.
PadmaShri awardee Prof. (Dr.) J. M. Hans is Founder & Director of a leading ENT care network in Delhi NCR, brings decades of experience in delivering advanced ear, nose, throat, and head–neck care. He is a Padma shri recipient for his pioneering work in cochlear implant surgeries and hearing rehabilitation.
Under his leadership, the centre provides comprehensive care across the full spectrum of ear, nose, throat, and head–neck disorders, including sinus and allergy diseases, vertigo and balance disorders, voice and airway conditions, pediatric ENT concerns, and hearing-related problems.
- Currently serving as Chairman & Director at Dr Hans’ Centre for ENT, leading the development of standardized, high-quality ENT services across Delhi NCR.
- He is Honorary Consultant to Ex Prime Minister of India.
- He pioneered the minimally invasive technique- VERIA technique for Cochlear Implantation in India.
- He is visiting ENT surgeon across the nation and foreign countries including Abu Dhabhi and is member of various government committees and programs including ADIP, AIISH, NPPCD and advisor to UPSC and WHO
- Led the innovation and development of the Hans Speech Valve, enhancing voice rehabilitation outcomes
- Mentors and trains emerging ENT professionals, fostering clinical excellence and best practices in patient care.
